Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Analyzes, verifies, authorizes, processes and reports related financial as required by the department. Designs, develops and implements systems or procedures resulting in the accurate reporting of financial or system data.
RESPONSIBILITIES







1. Analyzes, verifies, tracks and reports on financial indicators (registration dates, accounts receivables, account coding and charging, cash flow, budgets, GL, P&L, statistical data and reserves).
2. Reports on results on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
3. Tracks and reports on statistical variances. Reports discrepancies to Supervisor/Manager.
4. Designs, develops and modifies systems and procedures to enhance departmental processing, as needed.
5. Responsible for maintaining proprietary databases including data integrity, timeliness of data input and accuracy of data.
6. Conducts internal audits involving coding, charging, reimbursements, etc. to ensure compliance to departmental policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
7. Maintains compliance with various state, federal and industry standards and regulations.
8. Performs related duties, as required.

REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, required.
+ Minimum of three (3) years related financial experience, required.
+ Maintains current knowledge of various state, federal and industrial standards and regulations.
+ Knowledge of departmental systems and procedures.
+ Proficiency in Excel, required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
