Responsibilities:
Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysisRepresent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedingsCounsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcomeComplete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefsConsult with clients to ascertain their estate planning objectives, and provide legal guidance on matters such as wills, trusts, tax planning and asset protectionDraft, review, and revise a variety of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directivesConduct legal research on matters related to estate planning, tax law, and probate to ensure the firm's advice is up-to-date and compliant with current lawCollaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and implement estate planning goals tailored to individual client's needsRepresent clients in probate court and other legal forums as neededManage client relationships, including conducting initial consultations, follow-ups, and maintaining open lines of communicationOversee paralegal and support staff in the preparation and organization of documents and legal filings
Qualifications:
Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Work independently while handling a heavy caseloadOver 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firmPublic speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this roleAbility to use Microsoft Office is requiredJuris Doctor (J.
D.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
