Catherine of Siena PROS is a comprehensive recovery oriented program for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
The goal of the program is to integrate treatment, support and rehabilitation in a manner that facilitates the individual's recovery.
Job Details:
REGISTERED NURSE
Responsibilities:
Evaluates the nursing service needs of each consumer within thirty days to the consumer's admission into the program.
Provides emergency medical treatment and, when necessary, arranges for emergency medical transportation and care.
Provides group training and counseling sessionsDevelops and incorporates community resources into program curriculumAdminister medications to individuals.
Liaison with service providers and oversees follow-up for medical needs.
Provides staff training sessions on medically related topicsMaintains inventory of medications and medical supplies according to applicable laws of the New York State and Suffolk County Departments of Health.
Assists in arranging for necessary medical services including laboratory and x-ray, physical, dental and ophthalmologic examinations for individualsMaintains knowledge of current applicable regulations and compliance issuesAttends agency wide and community related meetings/in-services as required and assigned
Qualifications:
Current New York State Registered Nurse license Maintain current CPR Certification.
Requires valid NYS driver's license.
Has a good understanding and working philosophy in psychiatric rehabilitation.
2 years' experience with a psychiatric population.
Posted Salary Range:
USD $45.
00 - USD $55.
00 /Hr.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
